My mom's been having trouble with shortness of breath lately. I've also noticed the last several times I've spoken with her that she sounds a bit like she's a cold.
I wish it were that simple. Turns out that mom just discovered that she has a leaky heart valve. It's been backing up blood into her lung[s]. [don't know if it's one or both]
Dr. told her she could just live w/it or get it repaired. Dr. also wants to check her heart for any blockage so mom will do that too.
I am praying that mom will be alright...I may be 40, but I need my mommy.
