A couple of weeks ago, my best friend, David George, was told he has cancer. Pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver.
I've know David for around 20 years. Like me, David has had his social struggles. You know the types, Nobody likes me, I'm going to go eat worms. We've all been there, and if you can say that you haven't, then YOU are the ones that made the rest of us feel that way.
Today, I went to patient information and asked which room he was in, they told me without even looking it up. When I got to the room, IT WAS STANDING ROOM ONLY!!!!
What a testimony to this man's character. There were around 8 or 9 people there. WOW!!! This man is loved by his friends, and I am SO honored to be one of them.
I want to encourage any reader of this blog that knows David to go see him at Roper St. Francis. If you're not able to do so, you can mail him a card or letter to:

If you don't know me or David and you're just a random blog reader then I submit to you a suggestion:
1. GET A LIFE AND STOP READING RANDOM BLOGS
OK just kidding there, thanks for reading.
My real suggestion is if you have a really good friend, tell them how much you care about them.
